We had Kitaco dogs competing in both islands this weekend and are thrilled with how well they did.
In the North Island, Kathleen and Fifi took the Bitch CC on Saturday at the Bay of Islands Canine Association Show and then topped it off on Day 2 by taking the NZ Bred of Group on Sunday against some stiff competition. It's great to see what a lovely team Kathleen and Fifi have developed into.
Meanwhile, in Greymouth, on the west coast of the South Island, Amba debuted our gorgeous Baroness Bubbles (so known because Amba calls her Baroness and we can't get used to anything but Bubbles, LOL).
True to our Kitaco pups' knack of scooping a Group win on their show debut, our girl took Best Puppy of Group, in her very first Champ show, as well as the Bitch CC and Reserve of Breed in both shows on Saturday and again on Sunday in the Benefit Show. Not bad for a little newbie - earning 3 Championship points on her first weekend out against some really nice dogs, some of whom are established champions.
Such a great result for our Kitaco kids and their wonderful owners . So glad to have Amba and Kathleen on the team. The future looks very bright for both of them.
