Quick trip over the weekend to Nelson to collect our good friend and dog-show partner, Amba from CoutureNZ Kennels, and bring her (and her delicious pack) back to Christchurch in the optimistic expectation that COVID will stay away from the South Island (thanks to the epic handling of the pandemic by the NZ Government) long enough to allow some dog shows to proceed.
As we co-own Amba's stunning Russian Toy (AUS CH Nightwood Tsarina of Alucard (IMP AUST)) - the only one in NZ - we need to take the opportunity for as many NZ judges as possible to see her in action.
So, with a number of shows coming up, and our goergous Lady - who was described by Australian judge, Mrs Narelle Hammond (NSW). who judged her earlier this year at the Buller shows (you know - 100 years ago before COVID!) as "one the best examples of a Russian Toy I've ever seen". raring to go, we're looking forward to a fun couple of months watching her strut her stuff.
