Candy had her very last shows in Baby Puppy this weekend at the Waimakariri Kennel Association Show and she graduated from her class with a bang!  4 shows, 4 Baby Puppy of Breeds, 3 Reserve Best of Breeds and 4 Baby Puppy of Groups!

We are beyond thrilled to announce that Ava – NZ Platinum CH Kitaco Smashed Avacado, has achieved her Specialty Grand Champion title!

Scotty delighted us (and his many fans!) by taking the Best of Breed in both the Prelude Show (where he also took Best Junior of Group) and the National Dog Show.

It’s the National Dog Show Week, which means there are a crazy number of shows going on here in Christchurch – 34 of them to be precise....

We are so thrilled! Ava won her 4 th  Specialty Best In Show under Australian Judge, Andre Beattie, at the Dominion Chihuahua Club...

Over the 5 shows, Team Kitaco took 8 Best of Breeds, 4 Reserve Best of Breeds, all but 3 of the 15 CCs on offer, 4 Best Junior of Group, 2 Best Baby Puppy of Group. a Reserve Best of Group and 2 Best of Group wins.

At the NCKA shows we took 2 out of the 3 Best of Breeds in the Long Coats , a Best of Breed and a Reserve Best of Breed with the Smooth Coats and scored lots of eggs off the Easter Bunny.

Off to Westport this weekend for the BKA Shows where we once again cleaned up, taking all the Best of Breeds in the Long and Smooth Coats

Our star of the weekend, however was Scotty taking 5 Best of Breeds, 5 Best Puppy of Breeds, a Best Puppy of Group and a Best Puppy in Show!

We love our annual Waitangi Weekend trek down to Gore and this year was no excpetion.

This weekend also marked the official return to the ring of Stellar (Kitaco Starglow).
