Meet our 13th Kitaco-Bred Champion

We are delighted and very proud to announce that our beloved Candy has achieved her New Zealand champion title and will henceforth be known as NZ CH Kitaco Hard Candy Christmas. Candy achieved her Champion Title 2 days after qualifying as a Junior!

This is the 13th Kitaco bred dog who has achieved a Championship title. The others are:

Serena, Ben, Ava, Tinky, Stormy (Aussie Champion), Alice, Kyrie, Tara, Scotty and Bubbles. We counted Ben and Ava twice because they are the only NZ long coat Chihuahuas to have been awarded an additional title from the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI), of CIB (International Champion of Beauty).

This doesn't include the many other dogs we have been privileged to show to their Championship titles from other breeders, ranging from Narci (Mystic Legion), Nikita, Poco and Mexico (Eldivino) , followed by Flint (Bramvers) to our most recent visitor, the spectacular Gryff (Adrahil).

It's been a fun ride and a lot of work. We've been very fortunate to have so many local and international judges recognise their quality. We are still a relatively young kennel, in the general scheme of things, working hard to establish our lines, so it's great to be recognised for our efforts along the way as we see some consistency coming through.
