The number of people wanting to buy Chihuahuas at the moment. is crazy. So crazy, we have decided we need to change the way we manage our waiting list.
We are currenlty getting between 1 and 5 enquiries a day, asking for puppies. We have had over 400 serious enquiries this year alone and we're not even halfway through the year!
Obviously, we cannot - and will not - breed anywhere near enough litters to supply every person who asks us for a puppy, not do we intend to try.
So this is how we're going to manage our waiting list in the future...
If you are after a Kitaco puppy or a retired show dog, please check our Available Puppies or Retired Show Dogs Available for Rehoming pages and by all means, contact us if we have anything available.
We will list available pups on our Facebook page from now on, although not our retired dogs. These are very special to us and we only offer them to very special homes.
If you despeately want a Kitaco puppy, and nothing else will do (excellent taste, BTW!), and you are willing to put a non-refunadable $250 deposit down on your future dog, then please fill out the contact form and we will be in touch about adding you to our waiting list.
If you are serious about purchasing a dog in the future, but don't want to tie yourself to a Kitaco dog, then please contact us and if - or when - we can, we will get back to you. In the meantime, keep an eye on our site for any litters that become available.
If you must have a Chihuahua now, and you're unable to get one from us, please consider the NZ Chihuahua Rescue Trust. They do wonderful work and often have lovely Chihuahuas and Chihuahua-cross dogs looking for good homes in New Zealand.
