Wow, what a weekend Team Kitaco had at the Otago Kennel Association All-Breeds Shows in Dunedin. Unquestionable star of the show was our gorgeous Japanese import Flint (Bramver's Twilight (Imp Japan)) who we entered, hoping he would get his last Championship point to achieve his NZ Champion title.
Flint wasn't going to just settle for a mere CC, though. He decided to go for broke, taking the Best Dog CC, then Best of Breed and Best in Intemediate of Breed, then Best of Group and Best in Intemediate in Group and finally Best in Intemediate in Show under Judge, Bruce Anderson.
Oh, and Dogs NZ approval pending, He is now NZ CH Bramver's Twilight (Imp Japan)!
Ava (NZ CH Kitaco Smashed Avacado) didn't let us down, either, taking the Best Bitch CC, Best Junior of Breed in both shows, Best Reserve of Breed in show 1 and then on the second day, just to prove she could, she took Best of Breed as well.
We also had an honarary member of Team Kitaco this weekend. Brenda the Griffon Bruxellois (Nouveau Daffodillia) joined us, as her owner couldn't get away. Brenda was also in search of her last 2 CCs and she cleaned up, taking Best of Breed both days, qualifying for her Championship title and taking Open of Group in show 1, just to prove it was no fluke.
Thanks so much to the OKA for an excellent weekend of well run shows. It's always fun in Dunedin and we can't wait to come back for the next shows.
